Hello, my name is Iridian. I am a Chicana who grew up in Southern California. I moved up to Northern California after high school to attend Humboldt State University and pursue a degree in Journalism. Since graduating I found a job working for a local newspaper in Eureka, California called the North Coast Journal. My stories focus mostly on community and education, stories that impact the lives of people in my community.
